Carnival Project in Budakeszi 5a and 6a

In the period of the end of January and early February 2016, the students of Budakeszi grades 5a and 6a participated in across-curricular Carnival Season Activity: with the help of different activities in different subjects they looked into the “Carnival” theme.

In Art and Craft classes they created Carnival masks with the support of their teacher, Neil Wolstenholme. In 5a English classes, with Jeff Ertel, and in 6a, with Madeline Martello, the students practiced their writing skills on the topic of their masks. Later they processed this material with Neil in IT classes.

The wonderful masks created by our 5a students were displayed in the hall of SZIA’s main building. The 6a masks served an important purpose: at the upper school Carnival the students wore their masks during their performance.
