This year's fall camp got off to a thrilling start as the new 5th graders underwent a series of team challenges in order to discover their new Houses. Afterward, these new members were welcomed with open arms by their fellow Otters, Lions, Eagles, and Kookaburras. Students enjoyed dancing, singing, and roasting s'mores together-- we even celebrated a birthday together!

The next morning, we were up bright and early to ride a small train high up into the hills of Nagybörzsöny, where we enjoyed a long and beautiful hike through the forests of northern Hungary. The children thoroughly enjoyed this jaunt through nature, but they were more than ready for lunch by the time we returned to camp! After enjoying a few last games together, we loaded back up on the buses and headed back to Budapest tired but very happy to have spent such a great weekend together.
