Many of us were fortunate enough to attend an art training workshop hosted by the wonderful Ritók Nóra (Prima Primissima Award-winning teacher and art educator).

The workshop started with a look at the importance of art and creativity in the classroom. Allowing children to freely express themselves through art can help with self-confidence and discovery. No matter the medium, all children can find joy in creating something from scratch.

Next, it was our turn to get our creative juices flowing, whether you were an artist or not, there was something for everyone. We made use of all kinds of mediums from crayons to markers to paints. We learnt how to combine different mediums to create a totally different effect. I'm sure we all walked away with a fresh set of eyes for arts and crafts.
