Adam Whitcroft

Adam was born and raised in Northern Ireland, recently graduating with a Master’s in Chemistry with a minor in French from Queen’s University Belfast.

Throughout his high school and university years, he has enjoyed working with children in various roles: as a peer mentor in a charity for children from difficult backgrounds, as a personal tutor to high school students, as an au pair in France and as summer camp support staff in the U.S. He discovered a passion for language teaching whilst working abroad as a TEFL teacher at Sorbonne Université in Paris. He finds Bilingual’s teaching methodology to be a fantastic way of implementing the one person one language model in formal education, and he’s delighted to be involved in the programme.

Adam has been a frequent visitor to Hungary over the past couple of years and has been studying the language consistently ever since. Learning Hungarian is certainly a big challenge for him, but he knows that it’s also a unique language and any progress is very rewarding. He thinks Budapest is a wonderful city, and knows that Hungary is full of hidden gems, so he wants to continue his adventure and bring the skills he has to help teach with Bilingual.
