Carolyn is originally from Minnesota, but she lived in Michigan, Maine, and New Hampshire before coming to Budapest. Growing up surrounded by international staff at summer camps inspired Carolyn to learn and explore other cultures early. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Studies from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada. After her graduation, Carolyn traveled to Europe for the first time and was immediately enchanted with the places she visited, especially Hungary. Wanting to explore further and pursue a new career, Carolyn became TEFL certified in 2019. She is very excited to be with Bilingual and share her enthusiasm for learning and cultural exchange with her students. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys sewing her own clothes and exploring the world around her through travel, hiking, gardening, and reading.
