Alyson Haley

Teacher ALYSON.HALEY@BILINGUAL.HU

Alyson was raised in Hudson, Massachusetts, USA. She recently graduated from the University of Maine with her Bachelor’s in Secondary English Education and minor in Spanish.

From a young age, Alyson fell in love with teaching and has taught in various capacities (dance lessons, swim lessons, tutoring, etc.) since she was 14. After having the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and South America during her high school and university years, she decided to pursue her TEFL certificate and approach teaching abroad. Alyson has had many volunteer opportunities working with English as a Foreign Language students in various spaces such as students from her high school, preschoolers in Iquitos, Peru and Antigua, Guatemala, and university students at both the University of Maine and the University of Brighton (where she studied abroad in 2020).

Working with Bilingual will be Alyson’s first year teaching in the TEFL environment, and it is her first time in Hungary. She is very excited to begin her official teaching career with an organization that shares her core educational beliefs!
