Alan is a proud Scotsman who comes from Aberdeen originally. His work brought him to the London area when he graduated in Theology from the University of Aberdeen. Having moved south he never went back to live in Scotland and after a few years working with Cambodian refugees and doing youth work, he trained to…

Alan has been teaching ever since both in the UK and in several European countries and is still as enthusiastic today about getting his subjects across and loves the “Aha” moments when the penny drops. Alan has taught almost the whole range of ESOL exams and loves it when students succeed. In his free time, Alan an avid reader, largely of historical and detective fiction, loves swimming and has a passion for classical music and opera. He is married to a wonderful Hungarian lady and so is making home in Budapest.

Aaron grew up in Los Angeles, California. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was a teenager and later went to Georgia State University to study history and world languages and cultures, with a concentration in Spanish.

Abigail Evert

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Abby was born and raised in South Carolina, USA, before moving to Memphis, Tennessee, to attend university. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History and later earned her TEFL certification.

Our community life

There are also plenty of programs waiting for the students outside of the lessons, be it the exciting competitions of the House System, daycare or overnight camps, foreign exchange programs or trips.
