He has been teaching in kindergartens and elementary schools in Budapest for fifteen years so far, and he loves reaching across the language divide to find new ways of communicating and understanding. He earned degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2003, though he has also learned a great deal in languages and linguistics, and he has discovered that his passion is in teaching young people. A member of the team for many years in both kindergarten and primary school, Bill is now the Team Leader for the Bilingual Program at Megyeri Úti Primary School. This relatively new branch of our program is growing strong!
In his spare time Bill enjoys the outdoors, whether walking in the city or taking a longer hike in the forest. He also likes to explore many corners of Hungary and travel to nearby countries to expand his view of the world. In the quiet hours at home he likes yarn crafts too.
