He started his career in advertising agencies, in the account management department of McCann Erickson and DDB Budapest. Over the past 20 years, he has been working on several multinational and Hungarian brands. His focus being on the client’s side of the service sector. In 2006, he took a leading role in the rebranding campaign of Pannon GSM, Hungary’s second largest telco provider. Between 2016 and 2021, he developed the marketing communication platform of Budapest Bank – a former GE Money subsidiary and Hungary’s 4th largest commercial bank.
In 2000, Szabolcs graduated from the University of Pécs with a degree in German language and literature, and at the same time completed his BA studies at the Budapest Academy of Foreign Trade, majoring in international communication. He is interested in public service advertising and environmental sustainability. He also enjoys travelling and playing different sports, his favourites being football, alpine skiing and windsurfing.
