Armed with a teaching degree from the University of the Free State (class of 2019), her expertise lies in nurturing young minds aged 5 to 9. Throughout her four years at university, she immersed herself in classrooms of all primary level grades, learning and teaching with a passion.
In 2020, Pamila journeyed to Boston, USA, where she spent two and a half years as an au pair. Despite the challenges of Covid-19, she provided essential schooling and dedicated tutoring to her host children. Upon returning to South Africa, Pamila-joy spent four months substituting for a maternity leave teacher while acquiring her TEFL certificate. Her experiences abroad fuelled her desire to explore the world further while nurturing a classroom of her own. Now in Budapest, Pamila looks forward to combining her love for teaching and travel, inspiring young minds along the way.
