Luca Farkas

Luca joined the Bilingual Program in August 2025 and currently works as a Teacher Trainer at the Óbudai Nagy László Hungarian-English Bilingual Primary School (Váradi).

She was born and raised in Hungary. She holds a Master’s degree in teaching English and Hungarian as foreign languages, and has completed teacher training at both Cambridge and Trinity College London.

Luca has taught at leading language schools in Budapest and spent six years at the British Council, working with children, teenagers, and adults. She has also taught international students in UK summer camps.

She is passionate about reducing language anxiety in learners by creating supportive and engaging classrooms.

Outside of education, Luca is a trained veterinary assistant and lifelong animal lover. She enjoys cooking vegetarian meals, forest walks with her daughter and dog, and relaxing with music.
