Joel Lopez was born and raised in Queens, New York, and recently transitioned into the field of education after a decade of experience in multimedia, storytelling, and digital content creation.

With a CELTA certification and a deep interest in language, Joel is excited to begin their teaching journey abroad. They were drawn to the Bilingual Program for its emphasis on cross-cultural connection and its mission to make learning engaging and accessible. Joel brings creativity, curiosity, and a reflective spirit into the classroom, along with a strong commitment to student growth. Outside of work, Joel enjoys exploring new cities, curating playlists, and getting lost in books, films, and deep conversations. They’re always chasing fresh inspiration and meaningful connection.

Abigail Evert

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Alan is a proud Scotsman who comes from Aberdeen originally. His work brought him to the London area when he graduated in Theology from the University of Aberdeen.
