Carys Davies

Native English Teacher carys.davies@bilingual.hu

Carys was born and raised in Wales and graduated from The University of South Wales in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood and Youth Studies.

In 2017 Carys moved to China where she taught in kindergartens in several Chinese cities. She moved back to The UK in 2023 where she completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Linguistics and TESOL.

In total, Carys has over 13 years of experience in working with children, including children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, children with behavioural difficulties, working within a day nursery setting as well as an ESL teacher.

Carys is passionate about working with children and remains steadfast in always improving herself.’

Abigail Evert
Teacher

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Adam Ritsema
Teacher

Adam is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA and recently graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Bachelors’ in Statistics.

Adam Whitcroft
Teacher

Adam was born and raised in Northern Ireland, recently graduating with a Master’s in Chemistry with a minor in French from Queen’s University Belfast.

Our community life

There are also plenty of programs waiting for the students outside of the lessons, be it the exciting competitions of the House System, daycare or overnight camps, foreign exchange programs or trips.
