Blaine is from Northern Ireland originally, but he has travelled and lived in other countries and enjoys the challenge of living in new places and making the best of the situation and creating new experiences and new memories.

He did his school education before university in Northern Ireland and then in Scotland and Lincolnshire for university education in science-based courses. He has a lot of interests/hobbies including cycling, triathlon, hiking, mountaineering, travel and learning to play instruments and understand languages.

He has had some interesting experiences like trekking to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya, hiking the Camino Norte and other routes in Spain and the Camino Portuguese, cycling round Europe and Ireland and getting to the top of Mt. Blanc in the French alps.

He worked in the food and manufacturing sector in the UK before leaving the UK in 2017 to do TEFL in Spain (A Coruna, Valencia, Galicia, Pontevedra, Ribeira) as well as also working and living in Portugal, Italy and Nepal.

He is new to the education and teaching system in Hungary but keen to get into the role and learn a different country’s education and teaching values and expectations and develop new experiences and memories in a different setting.
