He received his BA degree in Slavic Studies(Russian and Polish) in 2013 and his MA degree in Russian Language and Literature in 2018 from Eötvös Loránd University, with a scholarship from Belgorod State University (Russia) focusing on applied linguistics. Péter has recently finished the PhD program (Literary Studies) and is now working on his dissertation. In the last few years he prepared his students at ELTE for their final exams in Russian and supervised four successful BA theses. Péter is still part of a research group focusing on semiotics and translation theory at ELTE and publishes his articles in Hungarian, English and Russian. For the last two years, he taught Russian and English and supervised Russian education at a private language school, where he saw his students grow and achieve their goals at all levels of the spectrum. He is passionate about quality education and intercultural communication, that’s why he is happy to be part of the Bilingual Program since November 2023.
Péter is a happy husband and father of two beautiful girls. In his free time he enjoys writing, exploring cultures and languages, dancing, taking long walks in the old town or in the forest.
