Ancke Rörich

Teacher

Ancke was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, and completed her BMus (Honours) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2020, with a specialization in Jazz Vocals and English Literature.

During her postgraduate studies, she conducted in-depth research on the representation of women in the music production industry and the impact of early musical exposure on children. Her research findings revealed a clear calling to the field of education.

For the past two years, Ancke has been teaching in a multilingual environment, working with students across a broad age range, from kindergarten to high school. This journey has not only deepened her passion for teaching but has also provided her with valuable insights into herself. It has fostered a growth mindset, enabling her to approach every challenge in life with resilience and a commitment to continuous learning. Ancke is looking forward to all the new exciting challenges lying ahead on her journey with Bilingual.
