Sylvia Roper

Teacher

Sylvia is from North Carolina, but has lived in Europe for the past four years. She has lived in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, and the United States.

In 2018, she graduated from the University of North Carolina with Highest Distinction; in 2022, she completed a Masters in Global History in Berlin with a thesis on African students in the former GDR. In the past, she has worked with university students and taught high school students in Kisújszállás. She looks forward to teaching with Bilingual

Abigail Evert
Teacher

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Adam Ritsema
Teacher

Adam is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA and recently graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Bachelors’ in Statistics.

Teacher

Adam was born and raised in Northern Ireland, recently graduating with a Master’s in Chemistry with a minor in French from Queen’s University Belfast.

Our community life

There are also plenty of programs waiting for the students outside of the lessons, be it the exciting competitions of the House System, daycare or overnight camps, foreign exchange programs or trips.
