Amira Bhamjee

Amira is from South Africa and graduated from North-West University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, and an Honours in Recreational Therapy. Throughout Amira’s university career, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide scope of people, it was through this that she discovered her love and passion for working with children.

After graduating, she became an Au Pair in The Netherlands, and thereafter spent a year in Luxembourg, working with children and traveling Europe. Amira enjoys traveling, running, drinking coffee, and, as any South African, eating good food! Amira joined the Bilingual program in August 2022 and hopes to develop her skills as a teacher and gain experience in the world of early years.

Abigail Evert
Teacher

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Adam Ritsema
Teacher

Adam is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA and recently graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Bachelors’ in Statistics.

Teacher

Adam was born and raised in Northern Ireland, recently graduating with a Master’s in Chemistry with a minor in French from Queen’s University Belfast.

Our community life

There are also plenty of programs waiting for the students outside of the lessons, be it the exciting competitions of the House System, daycare or overnight camps, foreign exchange programs or trips.
