Ági began her teaching career in 1980 after graduating from Teachers College.

Having graduated, Ági started her teaching career in the 1st district of Budapest in 1980, where she worked for nearly 20 years. She gained her first teaching experience in Grades 1-2, and later in a rotating system, following her students from Grade 1 through Grade 4.

Ági joined Krúdy Gyula Primary School in 1997. During her years there, she was introduced to a variety of teaching methods through further training and had the opportunity to try them out in practice. From 2007, as a department head on the school faculty, she was an active organizer and participant in district academic competitions, where the students she prepared often brought home honors.

She further enhanced her teaching expertise by obtaining the Pedagogy II qualification.

Ági regularly led math study groups for gifted students and also enriched the life of the school by bringing in her 10 years of experience as a folk dancer. Her passion for nature led her to organize regular summertime forest and winter ski camps both for her classes and for students of Krúdy Primary School at large.

Ági was introduced to the Bilingual Program in 2005. From the very beginning, she was excited to discover how students can be helped to learn the curriculum without having to compromise the Hungarian requirements, all the while helping them to acquire as much knowledge as possible.

She was impressed by the children's receptiveness and ability to develop. Not only was she delighted to see the outstanding results of the program, but she also found working with her English native-speaker colleagues a truly rewarding experience, despite the fact that this form of education requires a considerable amount of work and effort from both teachers in the classroom.

Having taught for 42 years, Ági now wants to pass her knowledge on to the younger generation, and help those who are now teaching in the Bilingual Program, especially recent joiners. In her free time, Ági continues to enjoy traveling (especially as her children live abroad), hiking and swimming, always with an eye on her looking after her health.
