Outdoor Reading Buddy Day

Relationships across ages are essential in our educational setting. In June, 1B and 7A connected for an Outdoor Reading Buddy Day! Additionally, they practiced English conversation and were challenged to become teachers for the afternoon by asking comprehension questions and completing an activity booklet.

Our young first graders look up to the upper primary students, who represent the near-native English level they will soon achieve. It is easy for our 7th graders to forget how far they have come, and reading to their young peers highlights this.

The reading portion of the Cambridge exam is the most difficult for students, and after preparing for months, they need to rediscover the recreational side of reading. It was a pleasure!
