Teachers in the Bilingual Program challenged our students to put their English skills to the test in a wide range of locally organized competitions. At Megyeri School, students took part in the Anti-Bullying Writing Competition, while at Krúdy School they developed their reading and creative writing skills through the In-house Reading Competition and the Petals and Prose Creative Writing Competition. Students also had the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents in the In-house Art Competition held at Váradi School.

We expanded the Spelling Bee competition to include students from Krúdy, Megyeri, Pais, and Színes Világ schools. Next year, Váradi and Budakeszi schools will join as well!

Our students from Krúdy and Megyeri also participated in a National English-Language History Competition, where the Krúdy 7.a team achieved an impressive 4th place. Congratulations!
Another exciting new opportunity this year was participation in English-language drama festivals. Krúdy students entered two festivals: Dramatize Too and the National English Language Drama Festival.
At the KAPOCS Competition, students from the Bilingual Program earned several second- and third-place awards.

Online civilization and culture competitions focusing on English-speaking countries were also very popular, including topics such as The Royal Family and Happy Birthday to the USA.
We are confident that every student will find a competition that suits their interests next year too!
