Zahra Maxwell

Teacher –

Zahra grew up in East Africa and the Philippines and then moved to the United States for university.

She received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Arkansas and has recently become TEFL certified. For the last year and a half she has worked as the Communications Coordinator for a Refugee Resettlement Agency in Washington State. She visited Budapest in 2022, which was when she decided it was the place for her.

After school hours, Zahra enjoys listening to audiobooks, creating mixed-media art, going to the gym, and engaging in outdoor activities with friends.

Abigail Evert
Teacher

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Adam Ritsema
Teacher

Adam is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA and recently graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Bachelors’ in Statistics.

Teacher

Adam was born and raised in Northern Ireland, recently graduating with a Master’s in Chemistry with a minor in French from Queen’s University Belfast.

Our community life

There are also plenty of programs waiting for the students outside of the lessons, be it the exciting competitions of the House System, daycare or overnight camps, foreign exchange programs or trips.
