Teacher Trainer JORDAN.HUYSER@BILINGUAL.HU

Originally from Seattle, Washington USA, Jordan is an experienced ESL teacher with a passion for language learning!

With a background in music and early childhood care, she transitioned into teaching in 2017 when she moved to Budapest, Hungary. It is in this beautiful city that she fell in love with teaching English and experiencing the cultures of the world. She recently completed her Master’s Degree in Education specializing in Teaching English as a Foreign Language through La Universidad de Alcala in Madrid, Spain. Jordan has experience working with all ages and language levels – both in person and online. Jordan implements a student-centered and task-based approach in her classes, encouraging constant oral output and fostering strong communication skills. She believes learning should always be fun and utilizes games and movement as often as possible in her lessons.

In her free time, Jordan enjoys cooking with her husband and playing with their dog, Albi.

She also plays the oboe and English horn and loves to attend concerts, ballets, musicals, and operas. Jordan is an avid runner and likes to explore the city on foot. She is looking forward to learning and exploring with her students in the upcoming school year at Bilingual!
