He studied at the University of Connecticut, double majoring in Economics and Political Science. At UConn, he competed for the varsity rowing team. When he turned 15, Diego landed his first job-as a performer for a tour agency. Luckily, he was funny enough to not be fired! One year later, he became a sailing teacher. Notably, Diego capsized a 17-foot catamaran with his manager on board… He continues to enjoy any opportunity to go swimming. After college, Diego worked in finance and consulting. Now in Budapest, he is excited for the fulfilling challenge of teaching abroad and motivating students in the bilingual classroom.
