Carolyn Magyar

Carolyn is originally from Minnesota, but she Carolyn is from the Northeastern United States, has a BA in Theatre Studies from Acadia University, and an MA as an Instructor of English as a Foreign Language from Pannon Egyetem.

She grew up attending and working at summer camps, where she got to know people from all over the world, inspiring her interest in different cultures from a young age. In 2020, Carolyn moved to Budapest and quickly discovered her passion for teaching at Bilingual. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know the students and sharing her own love of learning, exploration, and discovery with them.

Outside of school, Carolyn enjoys exploring Hungary with her husband and their dog, playing board games, and sewing.

Abigail Evert
Teacher

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Adam was born and raised in Northern Ireland, recently graduating with a Master’s in Chemistry with a minor in French from Queen’s University Belfast.

Alan Morrice
Teacher

Alan is a proud Scotsman who comes from Aberdeen originally. His work brought him to the London area when he graduated in Theology from the University of Aberdeen. Having moved south he never went back to live in Scotland and after a few years working with Cambodian refugees and doing youth work, he trained to…
