Carla Liebenberg

Carla was born and raised in Zimbabwe, where she lived for 18 years and went to school. She and her family moved to South Africa in 2014. She completed her studies at the University of Pretoria, and obtained a Bachelor of Education with majors in English and Business Studies.

During her time as a student she worked part-time as an au-pair, tutored primary and high school students, and also worked as a student teacher at two schools in Pretoria, South Africa. After completing her TEFL qualification, Carla moved to Hungary and joined the Bilingual Program at the beginning of 2019 as a 3rd grade main-class teacher. She is passionate about teaching English and is happy to be returning to the program this year to continue her journey of teaching in Budapest. In her free time she enjoys running, drinking coffee, exploring the city and traveling around Europe with friends.

Abigail Evert
Teacher

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Adam Ritsema
Teacher

Adam is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA and recently graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Bachelors’ in Statistics.

Adam Whitcroft
Teacher

Adam was born and raised in Northern Ireland, recently graduating with a Master’s in Chemistry with a minor in French from Queen’s University Belfast.

Our community life

There are also plenty of programs waiting for the students outside of the lessons, be it the exciting competitions of the House System, daycare or overnight camps, foreign exchange programs or trips.
