Amy grew up in Pretoria, South Africa, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English and French.

She also holds an Honour’s Degree in English from Stellenbosch University. She strives to create a safe and motivating space for her students.

Amy has a huge passion for language learning and teaching, and has always valued literary education as a tool for promoting empathy, collaboration and diversity. In her lessons, she takes a holistic approach and incorporates different types of activities to ensure an inclusive and engaging learning environment. In her free time, Amy likes to try new restaurants, paint, travel and watch movies.
