Teacher matthew.myslinski@bilingual.hu

Matthew was born and raised on the East Coast of the United States and graduated from the University of Maryland in 2017 with a BFA in Cinematic Arts.

With a long and storied career in the film and television industry, Matthew has a deep understanding and appreciation for the value of communication, language, stories, human connection, and empathy. After winning his first film festival at the age of the 12, he has since gone on to screen his work at prestigious festivals and venues worldwide, including the Cannes Film Festival, Manhattan Film Festival, Birmingham Film Festival, and Universal Studios Hollywood, as well as lend his skills to major productions by the likes of Warner Bros. Pictures, HBO, Marvel Studios, Netflix, National Geographic, and more.

Always seeking opportunities to expand his horizons as a lifelong student, volunteer, explorer, and working professional, Matthew recently completed his 140-Hour TEFL Certification as a means to build upon the work he has also done supporting education and youth development in the United States, Ireland, Germany, and Peru. When it comes to teaching, he strives to bring his well-rounded spirit of curiosity, adaptability, problem-solving, and connection into the classroom.

When Matthew isn’t working, you can try to chase him down across six continents as he passionately pursues his interests in travel, backpacking, camping, scuba diving, skiing, reading, cooking, petting cats, and watching “Doctor Who.”
