Sunny Martinez was born and raised in the beautiful Orange County, California.

She recently graduated from Haverford College earning her BA in Education Studies with a concentration in Peace Justice and Human Rights. Sunny has been working in schools since her freshman year of college starting in bilingual after school programs. She gets her passion for bilingual education from being bilingual herself. She grew up speaking both English and Spanish and is a proud Mexican American with two parents who immigrated to America from Mexico. Sunny spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona and visited Budapest during her time there and fell in love with the city. She is beyond excited to start working with bilingual youth this school year and can not wait to meet all her students. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, roller skating, and trying out new vegan recipes.

Abigail Evert
Teacher

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Adam Ritsema
Teacher

Adam is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA and recently graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Bachelors’ in Statistics.

Adam Whitcroft
Teacher

Adam was born and raised in Northern Ireland, recently graduating with a Master’s in Chemistry with a minor in French from Queen’s University Belfast.

Our community life

There are also plenty of programs waiting for the students outside of the lessons, be it the exciting competitions of the House System, daycare or overnight camps, foreign exchange programs or trips.
