Amelie McHugh

She attended the University of Manchester for three years, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Politics and Philosophy. During her time studying, she specialised in language philosophy which drew her to getting her TEFL certificate in 2023. Amelie grew up in a bilingual environment, attending school speaking English and Irish. She gained experience as a language tutor tutoring younger students in Irish (Gaeilge) while still at school. After visiting Budapest, Amelie decided she wanted to move to Hungary to teach English. She is excited to travel around Hungary and the surrounding countries during her time here. She is looking forward to teaching new students and working with the Bilingual program. In her free time, Amelie enjoys reading, writing, drawing, listening to music, and exploring the city!
