and their families to
Bilingual Family Day
Saturday, 14 September 2019, 10am-1pm
(Gates open at 9.30am)
Location: KOBUCI Kert
1033 Budapest, Fő tér 1. (in the Zichy Castle garden)
As of the new school year our slogan has changed:
Dynamic, creative – just like the children and native English-speaking teachers in the Bilingual Program and
for life! – just like our Bilingual students’ knowledge of English
The Annual Bilingual Family Day has become a good tradition and a great opportunity at the beginning of the new school year for now more than 1000 students and their parents to meet our native English-speaking teachers in an informal way, so parents can have a closer look at how the Bilingual Program operates on regular school days – although, at this event, through games, outside school/kindergarten environment.
In addition to our usual activities, we are preparing a few more:
- Children who complete 7 tasks of the tasks at the 8 stations will earn a gift.
- Our popular Family Day Staff Band will be on stage performing some other tunes to those in previous years.
- Our Community Art project display on site, to which every participating child and parent can add a piece using their creativity.
- Talk to the native English and Hungarian speaking teachers of Európa 2000 High School about our Bilingual high school program at their booth and meet former Bilingual students at the Alumni Corner and talk to them about high schools or even higher education.
- Browse through books again for children of all ages at the English language book stand.
For the students of the 3rd district schools this September 14th will be a school day and, therefore, for them participation in the district sports day is compulsory. However, the school principals of our partner schools have agreed to accept if a Bilingual student participates in the Bilingual Family Day with his/her family members and completes the activities of the sports stations.
