Clayton grew up in very rural Northern California surrounded by the coastal Redwoods and moved to Boston, MA, for university where he studied Geography. Clayton then lived in a series of international cities, including: San Jose, Costa Rica, where he worked as a Geospatial Data Analyst, New York City where he got a second Master’s degree and taught data analytics to US federal and state employees, and, most recently, Helsinki, Finland, where he worked as a Product Manager at a radar satellite company.
Throughout, Clayton has enjoyed working with kids in a variety of contexts – including as an uncle, a volunteer at a summer camp in the Southwest of the US, and coaching 7 year old boys football (soccer). In his free time Clayton enjoys exploring new places, hiking and sports, reading, and playing guitar.
