Karee Magee

Karee was born and raised in Plattsburgh, New York, in the United States.

Karee earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the State University of New York in 2012 and a master’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University in 2014. She had the opportunity to study in England and interned at a Swiss magazine, experiences that sparked a love for travel and exploring different cultures. In 2016, Karee decided to move away from journalism; she obtained a TEFL certification and moved to Ningbo, China, where she taught English for a year. During this time, she developed a passion for teaching, leading her to earn a master’s degree in Teaching English in 2021. As she loves Europe, the Bilingual Program is a perfect fit for her teaching career. She believes that providing a positive and fun learning environment is essential for effective teaching.

Aaron grew up in Los Angeles, California. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was a teenager and later went to Georgia State University to study history and world languages and cultures, with a concentration in Spanish.

Abigail Evert

Abigail was raised in Gauteng, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College Pretoria with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree. She also completed her TEFL Certificate during her third year of studies.

Abby was born and raised in South Carolina, USA, before moving to Memphis, Tennessee, to attend university. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History and later earned her TEFL certification.

Our community life
