Courtney is in her third year with Bilingual and is currently teaching Grade 3.

I have been a member of the teaching staff of Bilingual since 2017 and every day I am reminded of how rewarding my job is. This position allows me to continually improve my teaching methods due to the company’s wonderful teacher training, observations and helpful feedback. The co-teaching method is also a fantastic tool because it allows me to develop new skills and bounce ideas off my very experienced colleagues. Bilingual has given me a support system that I am very grateful for, especially while living abroad. Along with a great work experience, my life outside of work in the beautiful city of Budapest is fantastic to say the least. Budapest is a small enough capital city to be very accessible and easy to get around with reliable public transport. It is set along the Danube River and has many fantastic sights including the Parliament and Buda Castle. If you think you’ll miss nature, don’t worry, the Buda Hills are a quick trip away. The city is in close proximity to other charming cities, with easy train rides to Vienna and Prague and cheap flights to other European cities. Finally, Budapest offers a great expat network. I truly love this job and am so happy to have found it.
