Porcelain Christmas Decorations

During December students from Budakeszi SZIA and Krúdy schools made some fantastic porcelain Christmas decorations, during their art lessons. The students cut shapes out of rolled porcelain and then decorated them using an assortment of plaster stamps and wooden tools. Porcelain was chosen as it has a beautiful white finish, and is the strongest silica after firing to 1280 degrees. After the firing the students had the choice to leave the decorations white or decorate them with gold, silver or coloured pens before threading them with string ready for taking home for gifts.
