A Cultural Journey of Learning, Friendship, and Fun<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What happens when you combine culture, collaboration, creativity, and a touch of adventure? You get the Bilingual Dutch\u2013Hungarian Exchange Program<\/strong> \u2014 a unique international experience that brings students from the Netherlands and Hungary together for an unforgettable cultural exchange!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\udd1d Why Join the Exchange?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For students, this exchange is more than just travel. It’s about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udca1 Working on meaningful, collaborative projects
\ud83c\udf10 Exploring new cultures
\ud83d\udde3 Practicing English in real-life situations
\ud83d\udc65 Building lifelong friendships across borders
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the success of previous rounds in 2019, 2023, and 2024, Bilingual<\/strong> proudly partnered again with KSG Apeldoorn<\/strong> for the 2025 program \u2014 and this year\u2019s experience was one for the books!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hungarian Week: March 31 \u2013 April 4, 2025<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In spring 2025, 14 Dutch students were warmly welcomed by their Hungarian, Bilingual Program peers from \u00d3NL-V\u00e1radi<\/strong>, Megyeri<\/strong>, and SZIA Budakeszi<\/strong>. During their stay, they explored Hungary\u2019s vibrant culture through exciting activities such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfa7 Visiting the House of Music
<\/strong>\ud83c\udfdb Touring the Museum of Ethnography<\/strong> and Money Museum
<\/strong>\ud83d\udd75\ufe0f\u200d\u2640\ufe0f Participating in a Budapest scavenger hunt
<\/strong>\ud83c\udfa8 Creating tie-dye memory bags during a fun House event at Megyeri School
<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students also began working on the collaborative project \u201cYour Life, My Life,\u201d<\/em> which they presented before leaving \u2014 wrapping up the week with a cheerful pizza party<\/strong> and heartfelt farewells\u2026 or rather, \u201cSee you soon!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dutch Week: May 18 \u2013 23, 2025<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Just a few weeks later, it was time for the Hungarian students to take flight \u2014 literally! Flying into Amsterdam and traveling onward to Apeldoorn, they were warmly received by their Dutch host families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the week, students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udeb4 Explored Apeldoorn and cycled to the charming Hanseatic town of Deventer
<\/strong>\ud83d\udc51 Visited the majestic Paleis Het Loo
<\/strong>\ud83d\uddbc Took a cultural deep-dive into Amsterdam<\/strong> and the world-famous Rijksmuseum
<\/strong>\ud83e\udde0 Continued their collaborative project and presented their work together at school
And of course, there was plenty of time for fun, laughter, and bonding during their cycling adventures and cultural excursions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
