Every spring starting in Grade 9 the Bilingual Program administers a Final Exam as an <strong>external benchmarking tool<\/strong>. We use official test materials and run our mock exams under strict testing conditions. Cambridge language exams extend into high school, at which point the most advanced students begin working towards their IELTS (the International English Language Testing System) qualification, developed and run by Cambridge University, the British Council and IDP Australia. For Grade 12 for your child, the relevant exam is &nbsp;IELTS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information please see the following:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridgeenglish.org\/Images\/23436-ielts-guide-for-test-takers.pdf\">IELTS Guide for Test Takers<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ielts.org\/\">IELTS website<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the schedule for February 25th?<br><\/strong>All components (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) of the mock exam will be held on February 25th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is the <strong>detailed schedule for the February 25th<\/strong> IELTS mock exam:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-border-color has-primary-border-color has-fixed-layout\" style=\"border-width:1px\"><thead><tr><th>Time<\/th><th>Activity<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>7:40-8:00<\/td><td>Orientation<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>8:00-8:40<\/td><td>Listening<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>8:40-9:00<\/td><td>Break<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>9:00-10:15<\/td><td>Reading<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>10:15-10:30<\/td><td>Break<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>10:30-11:30<\/td><td>Writing<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>11:30-12:30<\/td><td>Lunch Break<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>12:30-13:10<\/td><td>Speaking<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>What else should I know about the speaking exam?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two important things to keep in mind regarding the speaking component:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The speaking exam sessions may run later than scheduled, or may finish earlier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will not be any further classes or sessions after the exam on February 25th.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>What else should I know about the schedule for February 25th?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to have enough time to prepare for the start of the exam, students are expected to <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-color\">arrive at the school no later than 7:40<\/mark><\/strong> on the day of the exam. <strong>The exam begins at 8:00 sharp.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students should wear comfortable clothes and bring three pencils and pens.
