There’s Only One You! – Student Videos
In our videos shared with you in November, Bilingual Program teachers introduced themselves. It’s the children's turn now!
During the fall, students explored Linda Kranz’s two lovely stories, “You Be You” for the younger ones, and “Only One You” for the slightly older children, and worked on the moral of the stories in English lessons. The stories provided a good base for discussion and a great opportunity to develop the children’s self-esteem and to get them to think about what makes them special, in conversations with their peers and their teachers. Many undertook to name one of their strengths in a short video recording.
The stories were read by the native English-speaking educators of the kindergarten age group, and by children at the schools. You can see these before the kids’ videos.
It is certain that all students of the Bilingual Program are unique and diverse - we are proud of them!
