Kőrösi Science Competition

The Kőrösi Science Competition was held virtually this year, in light of the current pandemic. Our Budakeszi team consisted of fifth graders, Andor Csizner and Emma Pulcini, and sixth graders, Petra Hajós and Réka Simon. The theme of the competition was sustainability, and our students delivered with their research and presentation focusing on soil erosion and conservation. Their simple, yet brilliant, experiment showed the impact of plants/root systems on the level of soil erosion. With solid research and an engaging presentation, the Budakeszi team was able to secure the third place spot in the competition this year! We are all extremely proud of the hard work and dedication exhibited by these students in their preparation and presentation.
