Bilingual Family Day 2022 – Thank you...

We would like to say Thank You to all the participants: children, parents and teachers who spent that joyful Saturday morning with us on September 17, 2022!

Bilingual Family Day was hosted by Széchenyi István Primary School this year. The event was opened by Éva Györke-Szilágyi, Managing Director of the Bilingual Program and on behalf of the city of Budakeszi, dr. Hargita Dömötörné Papp, President of the Education, Culture and Health Committee.

This year, the participating children and their family members visited the native English-speaking teachers of the Bilingual Program on the magical islands of the Bilingual Ocean, where they collected stamps in their passports for completing various creative, sports, and arts&crafts activities, which they eventually exchanged for gifts.

Results announcement:

In the school class/kindergarten group stamp collecting competition, the winning class collected 226 stamps, well above the per capita results of the other groups/classes.

They are SZIA Budakeszi 1.a!

Congratulations! Their reward is a community building class program selected for them by their native English-speaking teachers and form teacher.

On the day of the event, last year’s 8th graders, who have since graduated, received their official Cambridge Exam certificate from their proud, former native English-speaking teachers as part of the Cambridge Certificate Ceremony.

Here is a slide-show of the event:

We look forward to seeing you all in September 2023!
